Great Crock Pot Recipes

This week on What's for Dinner Joe and Barbara give us some great crock pot recipes.

Barbara's Chicken Enchiladas

Boneless Chicken Breasts Corn Salsa Cheese

Place all ingredients n a crock pot. Shred the chicken after 5 or 6 hours add sour cream and cheese, stir to combine. Serve with tortillas on the side.

Crock Pot Cheese Burger Soup

Ground Beef Onion Pepper Tomatoes Potatoes Cheese Flour Milk

Combine the beef, chopped onion, pepper, tomatoes and potatoes in the crock pot and cook for 5 to 6 hours. Whisk together the milk and flour to make a roux. Add the roux to the crock pot along with the cheese. Cook for another 30 minutes and then serve.

Honey Pork Roast

Boneless Pork Roast Honey Soy Sauce Basil Corn Starch Garlic Olive Oil Cold water

Combine all ingredients and cook until the pork reaches 160 degrees. Remove the pork from the crock pot and serve on a platter.

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Flank Steak Garlic Minced Onions Shredded Carrots Green Onions Soy Sauce White Wine Oil Sherry Vinegar Peanut Butter Molasses Ginger Black Pepper Brown Sugar Chili Flakes

Slice the raw flank steak into pieces. Toss with corn starch in a ziplock bag. Add the liquid to the dry ingredients and cook in the crock pot for 6 hours. Serve with rice on the side.

Veal Stew with Rosemary and Lemon

Veal Stew Meat Flour Celery Onions Carrots White Wine Tomato Sauce Rosemary Lemon Zest

Toss the meat in flour and set aside. Saute the pieces of meat in a little oil. Add the vegetables to the crock pot and turn the setting to low. Then add the remaining ingredients to the crock pot and cook for 6 to 8 hours on low.

Fish Stew

Fish Stock Dry White Wine Bay Leaf Stewed Tomatoes Onions Lemon Flat Leaf Parsley Pepper Fennel Leeks Garlic Clams Cod Mussels

Add all the liquid ingredients and vegetables to the crock pot and bring to boil. Add the fish for the last 30 to 45 minutes. Serve in bowls with a side of crusty bread.
