South Jersey needs a little Christmas, and Tuckerton Seaport, in partnership with the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce and 100.1 WJRZ invites all local families, regardless of need, to come together to enjoy a free meal and give thanks on Saturday, November 29th from noon to 4pm at the Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum, 120 West Main Street (Route 9) in Tuckerton.
This community meal will be hosted on the Seaport’s grounds under a huge heated tent. Enjoy entertainment and plenty of family activities, including make-and-take crafts perfect for the holidays. This community event and activities will be offered at no cost.
The community meal at the Seaport will feature a Giving Tree, where guests can spread a little holiday cheer by selecting a local family and buying them holiday gifts. If you know of a family in Southern Ocean County who is in need, please let us know so we can find them a Secret Santa. Santa’s Little Helpers will have until the second weekend in December to drop off their gifts.
Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum, a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization, relies on and thrives thanks to the tremendous support we receive from the local community. To get involved in this event, please contact Tuckerton Seaport Deputy Director of Operations Brooke Salvanto at 609-296-8868 or BrookeS@TuckertonSeaport.org.
