April is National-Adopt-a-Greyhound Month

What’s gentle, graceful, a 40 mile per hour couch potato and waiting to be welcomed into a loving and permanent home? Answer: A greyhound.

April is National-Adopt-a-Greyhound Month and a great time to adopt a beautiful companion into your home today. Closed racing tracks and the slumping economy have resulted in displaced greyhounds, fewer adoptions and more returns. Thousands of greyhounds are being cared for by adoption groups across the country as they wait to be adopted into permanent homes.

Please help ensure that 100 percent of these greyhounds find homes by visiting www.thegreyhoundproject.org for resources and information on how to adopt a greyhound in your area.
