For the eighth consecutive winter, the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts and Sciences (LBIF) will host “Science Saturdays,” interactive lectures on topics which tackle today’s most pressing and interesting scientific, environmental and sustainability issues. Presented in an easy-to-understand format, talks by experts in their fields are scheduled from 11am to 12:30pm at the LBIF’s main building in Loveladies at 120 Long Beach Boulevard. These lectures are scheduled each Saturday through April 26.
This Science Saturday session is open to the public for a $5 donation and free to Foundation members. For more information, contact the LBIF at 609-494-1241 or visit www.LBIFoundation.org.
